Built in 1951by Everett Arthur (in Handsboro, Mississippi) for Mike Sekul, the Captain Blood was a Biloxi Lugger with the following dimensions:  length 50 feet, breadth 15 feet, depth 4.4 feet and weighed 27 tons.  Known captains of the vessel include:  Frank Girouard, and Neville “Tejean” Broussard.  Captain Blood led the famed Biloxi Blessing of the Fleet many years.
