A hoisting rig with a wooden hull uilt in 1945, Alma Mae was a working boat for DeJean Packing Company.  Francis Girouard captained the Alma Mae for many years.  It measured as follows:  length 49.5 feet, breadth 16.4 feet, depth 5.9 feet.  Weight 36 gross tons, powered by a 100-horsepower engine.
